At weekends Margarite, Helen and Rebecca went on exercises, canoeing and learning to pull whaler’s and go on board HMS Laburnum and Centaur docked in Singapore harbour. Mum recalls: “inadvertently orderering the cadets to march forward but could not stop them nearly going over board!”

Rebecca chose RADAR and Mum specified COMMS in their choice of work. They were thrilled to watch the Aircraft on the majestic Aircraft carrier and on board Minesweepers and Cruiser Belfast, which ‘set the Scene for a life of Duty and Service’.
